The Petticrows Dragon hull is constructed in Protec, a premium high performance resin. Our moulding shop is kept at a temperature not less than 22oC; the hulls are post cured afterwards.

All glass fibre and reinforcing are laid onto the hull and deck mould dry. The resin is then infused through the materials giving a very accurate and stiff laminate.

Lateral and horizontal reinforcements plus 5 bulkheads are fitted prior to installation of internal and deck.
The hull, deck, internal and waterline colours are optional.

The deck is designed for minimum coach roof and wider side decks. The coamings are especially rounded and angled to make sitting out more comfortable.

The traveller beam or central control console (Barney post)models pictured are optional.
Our standard fit out options are Deluxe PRHJ or Vincent Hoesch. We can also work closely with individual sailors to arrange custom fit outs.

Spars are included. We have standard masts or the new i-mast which is available as an optional extra.
In all cases Harken carbo range blocks and fittings are used, all sheets are tapered in Dynema. All systems today are winchless; high capacity electric pump and digital compass is part of the standard inventory, as is anchor, lines, spare battery and charge, lifting slings, fenders, boom crutch, paddle, tool box and tension gauge.

We can also offer a range of sails, covers, trailers, fender etc. as optional extras.
All new boats come complete with IDA approved measurement form and ISAF royalty paid.
