It is great news that our Japanese friend Bocci Aoyama and
his crew will be joining the excellent fleet at the Edinburgh
Cup in Abersoch in his new Dragon Yevis II.
The recently completed Yevis II has a GRP hull and a teak
and varnished mahogany deck. The picture was taken outside
our workshop. On completion of every new Dragon we always
step the mast to check that everything fits together and set
the mast to our standard settings. The Japanese team will
be flying into
Manchester and driving straight to Abersoch to meet the boat.
It is great to see the Japanese team in Europe after the terrible
events in their country earlier in the year. JPN-50 will also
be competing in the Gold Cup in Ostend.
