Petticrows Soling success in Soling Worlds

Over the past few months Petticrows have been working alongside Ex world Champion Soling sailor Roman Koch to develop a new Soling.
Petticrows was approached by a number of Soling sailors wanting a new class builder following the fire that destroyed Abbott boatyard their former major builder.

Roman took our first production boat, which incorporates a number of innovative ideas, to the world championship.
The boat included the new Petticrows mast which Roman reported back was performing excellently.

The championship - held on Lake Chiemsee in Germany had a variety of tricky conditions. Roman reported good boat speed throughout and finished a respectable 4th place overall.
During the postponements the new boat gave the Soling sailors plenty to look at and discuss.
