At Petticrows we regularly get visitors from overseas popping
in to have a look around. Recently we have had quite a bit
of contact with our friends in Vancouver, who report that
the west coast Dragon fleet have had a great summer.
The fleet gets a regular turnout of 9. Next year they should
be joined by Norman Allyn’s 1983 World Champion “Mistral”
a 1970 wooden Borreson has been completely restored, Norman
visited recently to check out the latest fit outs and showed
us the photographs of his restoration project.
Tireless Dragon supporter Anne Garrett also called in on her
way to the IDA meeting and spoke enthusiastically about the
Vancouver and Seattle fleets.
