Tommy Mueller wins Coupe de Bretagne Douarnenez.......

Tommy Mueller sailing with Vincie Hoesch and Micky Lipp scored emphatic victory in their brand new Petticrows 2009 boat straight from the factory during the Coupe de Bretagne regatta.

The German team won 3 races and comfortably triumphed in what was a predominantly a light wind series.

Racing was closer during the Grand Prix Petite Navire with the Ukrainian teams showing that they are a real force to be reckoned with. Overall victory went to the “Bunker Boys” who despite not winning any race sailed a consistent series to take the podium. Annapurna sailed by Anatoly Loginov managed to win 2 races, but despite this managed second overall. In case you are wondering what happened to Tommy ...he did to win a race too!

African Queen a new 2009 boat finished 6th overall, also winning a race.

As always the hospitality was fantastic and Douarnenez remains one of the best Dragon regattas in the calendar.
