As well as a jam packed international racing circuit, the Dragon class offers much more to sailors at national and local level. The class has something for everyone.

Our local yacht club the RCYC in Burnham-on-Crouch recently hosted the UK East coast Dragon championship. A superb weekend of racing in fantastic conditions was enjoyed by 20 Dragons. The event was won by Ian Gray, Keith Gray and Nigel Cole sailing Scorpio. Our local fleet captain Colin “Woody” Woodcock and his team of helpers pulled out the stops to put on a terrific weekend proving that good sailing and good company are a winning combination for all.
